Initially spotted at CES, 3M’s MPro 150 dual MP3 Player and pico projector has been unleashed to the public.  It appears that it’s currently up for pre-order and available through select online retailers.

Giant online retailer Amazon looks to have been given exclusivity first dibbs. The good news? Well, it beats our previous expectations of $395 and our anticipated February release date. The bad news, you’ll still have to depart with 385 greenbacks.

3M have released literature a promotional video of the new device showcasing the projector in all its splendor.

  • 1GB internal storage with accompanying 2GB mini SD Card
  • Interfaces with many media sources including PCs, DVD Players, iPods, iPhones, digital cameras and phones
  • Packed with 2 x 0.5 watt built-in Speakers
  • 20,000 hour LED life
