Another MP3 player has been unveiled on the eve of CES 2010. This is a device whose primary function is not its MP3 player but its pico projector – this is 3M’s MPro150 pico projector.
Packed with 1GB internal memory and an expandable microSD slot, the device allows projection up to 50-inches at 15 lumens brightness. The MP3 player is not only audible via the headphone but also through the integrated stereo speakers.
Additional features incorporated into the MPro150 include support for Microsoft Office applications as well as Adobe PDFs, photos and video. How exactly you control you video with a lack of controls is anyone’s guess.
At a reasonable price of $395, the projector comes bundled with a built-in flip stand, tripod, and a variety of input cables. Release date of early February expected.
