The leak of 6 new Archos players was great and all, but there was only really one in the lot that caught our interest – the Archos Vision A43VB. Since the news of the leak broke around the world, further details have emerged of the video-capable PMP.
The nicely-priced 99 Euro player (or ~$135 USD) is rather rough around the edges. The device sports a well-sized 4.3-inch touchscreen, but the interface is not only basic but lacking. The GUI lacks responsiveness and the ability to correctly detect the human touch. It all feels rather clumsy, but we’ve been informed that it is “still under development”.
The 8GB storage capacity will come bundled with a microSD card slot for expansion. It is apparently capable of supporting a wide variety of formats including the popular Chinese RMVB format. Archos are in “close works with a Chinese company to optimize” the player which is another way of saying that the player is a rebranded Chinese MP4 player.
Don’t expect the A43VB to be riding the Android wave. Instead, it is running Archos’ own proprietary OS which is a far cry from the glitz and glamour we’re used to.
The player comes bundled with an eBook reader, photo viewer, calendar, sound recorder, and stereo external speakers. Expect a battery life of 30 hours of audio on a single charge.

Note: We have been accused by Nicolas Charbonnier (alias “Charbax”) of archosfans.com of stealing his video content, an accusation which we take seriously. Unbeknown to us, the video was originally posted as part of an article on archosfans.com. In our defense, we sourced the video through a search of YouTube and not via archosfans.com. If Mr. Charbonnier does not want people embedding his videos in their content without linking to his articles, we suggest that he not publish his videos to YouTube.

You link to the source. Embedding a video is not fully like linking to a source. The source is either the Youtube channel or in this case, one of the websites clearly stated in the overlay annotation.
If you are above editing your post with excuses and linking to the appropriate source of your information, then that should be good enough clue as to the value of your site. And if you keep considering that a link to a source is like spam, I hope other bloggers steal your content without linking to you.

Caution is advised when dealing with those who are constantly plagued with the glitzy, sparkly, wishy-washy ambition of being – “Somebody” – a latently wishful ambassador for Archos – a “fan” no less.
For these self-perceived james bonds, hyper pheramone-ism is the order of the second, minute, hour, day, year … you know the rest.
A human being, converted to a fan – you can’t get more self-righteous and important than such a darling of a beastie. He’s not so much accusing you of plagarising but having the gall to cast aspersion against his [self-perceived worshipful] master – a Frenchie disguised as a Chinese – or is it the other way round.
