Cowon have already released a host of exciting players this year including the i9 and E2, but their most exciting player, dubbed the Cowon V5 HD, seems the most impressive by far.
Unfortunately, all we have to go on is a leaked, non-English promotional video from the marketing gurus at Cowon. If the name is anything to go on, we should be expecting a video-capable device with HD capabilities.
The news will be most unwelcome for the likes of Onda who, although not recognized in the West, have pushed out several players with the lucrative HD title.
