We’re not too sure who is copying who, but here is a player that is awfully reminiscent of Mintpass’ Cube. It’s dubbed the DoDoNa S-100 Mp3 Player. Just like the Cube, the S-100 is an attempt to revive the era of analog.
The cube-shaped device packs old-school iPod-like-controls around the OLED display. On the top of the player, the device features bulky buttons which are reminiscent of the early Sony Walkman days.
The 1.1-inch OLED display (96 by 96 pixels) makes the most of its available space. The single choice of 4GB of storage is slightly meager.
The device supports both OGG and FLAC open formats along the more common MP3 and WMA. Feel free to pump out the tunes using the integrated loud speaker for up to 8 hours, or you can resort to more traditional headphones for 15 hours of continuous audio playback.

Additional features include a radio and clock with alarm.
Unfortunately, the device doesn’t come cheap. Expect to shell out $167 for the device. No word on a release date or availability.
