A supplier of entry-level media players, Enter (which gets a zero for name originality) has released its latest MP4 player dubbed the Enter E-MP35. Not to be confused with the the near squareness of an Internet tablet, the E-MP35 is one colorful piece of equipment, but perhaps the color choice is more fitting for the 70s.
The device features a 4.3-inch (4:3 ratio) LCD display with three bright-pink tactile controls located either side of the screen. Storage capacity is limited to a mere 4GB – even if there is a memory card (TF) slot. The battery life is respectable – 4 hours 25 min on video playback and 12 hours on music to be precise
As we come to expect from an entry-level device, the E-MP35 features support for your run-of-the-mill video types including DivX/Xvid, WMV and MP4, yet audio support for FLAC amongst MP3 and WMA comes as a surprise.
Included is a slew of additional features not limited to an FM tuner, TV-Out interface, (alarm) clock, e-book reader, and a collection of games. No word on price or availability, but we won’t be waiting with bated breathes.
