iRiver N15 announced, looks familiar

You might recall the once hyped iRiver N20, the player that never got to see a stateside release. In a bit of a surprise, the N20 has received a cousin dubbed the iRiver N15. Most consumers won’t be able to tell the difference. In fact, we’re struggling ourselves.

Most of the player’s specs have remained unaltered including the storage sizes (2GB/4GB), tiny PMOLED-display, dimensions (26×55.5×13 mm), FM tuner, and colors (Black and Black only).

What you do lose is 3 hours of overall battery life to give you 12 instead of 15, support for OGG, and iRiver’s trademark IESE (iRiver Extreme Sound Engine) sound technology.

The device is expected to hit store shelves in March. If the N20 is anything to go on, don’t expect a US release.
