Onda VX 575HD

Recent Onda’s have received outstanding reviews upon release so much so that the company has a following of sorts.

Onda has taken the critiques onboard and has added another media player to its line dubbed the Onda VX575HD. Details are coming out slowly, but we have a few specs to report about the upcoming player.

The big change with this player is HD support. Onda is so confident with its latest HD product that it believes it is setting a trend for future PMPs.

The VX575HD is being publicized as the first MP4 player to sport an HDMI interface for transmitting uncompressed/lossless digital data. HDMI has the ability to offer the highest quality effects bringing immersive audio-visual effects.

File support appears comprehensive; stated supported includes H.264, AVI, the outlandish MKV (Maktrosa) and RMVB container formats, and HD video (to name a few).

The lack of visible controls lead us to believe that the player will feature touchscreen technology – what we come to expect.  What is so different about this Onda player is not just the HD support but its overall look.  The streamlined, glossy player with its rounded edges is a face-lift of sorts for the company.

While the player undergoes its final testing, details remain sketchy at best. No details have been released in regards to  price, availability or release dates.
