Oppo have revealed their latest gadget – the fashionable Oppo X1 MP3 player. Some might mistake the device for a box of their favorite fragrance. The X1 is Oppo’s first player to represent the X-series line. Details are sketchy but here’s what we know…

Although not confirmed, the X1 appears to be an audio-only device which would put it in the same category as the Cowon iAudio 7.  Sound quality/effects appears to be the name of the game with the inclusion of “Richsound” and “DBEE 2.0 audio” technology – whatever that means.

Unfortunately, the pictures don’t let us gather a lot about the user-interface.  We do know that the UI features dedicated controls for audio effects, rapid deletion of tracks, audio playback, and ‘ear protection mode’.

The X1 includes a practical charging solution requiring a mere 5 minutes of charge for an output of 100 minutes of audio playback – ideal for day-to-day use.
