The folks over at Philips have showcased their latest Philips GoGear Muse in a promotional video. We’re calling it a promotional video, instead; we suspect the video is intended for customers of the newly purchased device.
The presenter, Russell, touts the device for its “Philips FullSound™ technology” offering music in “great detail in clairty”. In addition, there is mention of the “ultra comfortable noise-cancellation headphones to reduce ambient sound.” Both of these features are intended for an, “improved on-the-go music experience.”
Recall that the GoGear features a 3-inch display with 16GB of storage space capable of 25 hours of audio and 5 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.
Initially, a North American release was not suspected, but what are we to think when of all people Philips choose an American guy speaking English to showcase their new product?
[EDIT:] You might be pleased to know that there is a 32GB option available; both the 32GB and 16GB are now available for pre-order on Amazon UK.

Why not demonstrate GoGear Muse benefits in the video directly to us, as opposed to “talking” about them…and by a typical corporate product marketing looking person with whom I as a PMP dude can hardly relate to. The only thing I learned from this video is to go to the manual and the website. DUHH!
