Ramos has revealed its latest manifestation of its infamous T11 – the Ramos T11TE. The company have been pushing out numerous PMPs in recent months, but none (with due respect) have been quite as exciting as the T11TE.

While full details are slow to emerge, here’s what we do know.

The T11TE features a choice of 3 playback resolution formats: 480P, 720P and 1080P. We can’t continue without acknowledging the built-in 1080P HDMI output capabilities.

Playback file support is reminiscent of Archos 605′ series including support for MP4, MOV, AVI, ASF, WMV, MKV, RM, RMVB, TS, DAT, MPEG, and VOB.

If you expected the T11TE to be driven by a Rockchip, think again. To the contrary, a Telechips TCC8901 is the workhorse behind the player featuring an ARM1176JZF-S processor with 65nm technology for high frequencies at low power. Let’s not forget the 128MB DDR2 dual-chips embedded alongside the Telechips.

Details related to storage sizes are unknown. One of the more beckoning questions is the player’s battery life.  The ARM processor will require some serious power. Let’s hope Ramos have a battery to fit.

Stay tuned for further details…
