If the Ramos T11TE tickled your fancy, you’re bound to get a kick out of the newly released RAmos T17FHD. There’s more to the name than meets the eye; it is rumored that FHD stands for “Full High Definition”.

With an HDMI out-jack (1080P), the “HD” player packs a 4.3-inch display (800×480 pixels) along with 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory slot.

The file support doesn’t leave out anybody: MKV, RMVB , AVI, MOV, MPG, MPEG, DAT, MOV, MP4, TS video formats, MP3, WMA, WAV, RM, OGG, AAC, M4A, FLAC, APE audio formats, and JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIF picture formats.

It’s not all about the usual sights and sounds because the T17FHD doubles up as a voice recorder along with calendar, stopwatch, and calculator functionality. Unfortunately, there’s a lack of info on battery life which is bound to trip some alarm bells.

The T17FHD has been available in China since December, yet the rest of us are only seeing availability as we speak. Don’t expect to see this device on your usual store shelves because you’ll only find this bad-boy via a foreign importer.

Expect to pick up the T17FHD for under $130 USD – a bargain if you’re asking me. If you’re struggling to be converted, check out a video of the T17FHD in action. It’s a modern marvel.
