Here’s another merchandising piece of memorabilia that is bound to make the likes of George Lucas even richer. That’s right, it’s a Star Wars Lightsaber MP3 Player.

For those die hard fans who live their life believing they’re living in the Republic, if you’re intending to decapitate your worst enemies, think again – it’s just an MP3 player. Now that we have the out the way…

Expecting a release date of February, the device measures 3.14-inches. The gadget uses a microSD card slot as its storage medium. There lack of controls and screen means that songs will be played in the order that they’re stored on the memory card. Then again, song order will be the last thing on your mind in the midst of battle.

Upon release, the products will retail for a price of $23.90.

May the force be with you…
