After an unboxing of the iAudio 9, it was only a matter of time before we showcased an unboxing of the newly released Cowon iAudio E2. Again, we’re not too sure about Cowon’s choice of packaging. It appears to be a new product-wide strategy. Perhaps there are environmental considerations behind the new encasing?
Courtesy of gmp3, we get the first glimpses of the product. With the possibility of being mistaken for a sandwich box, the E2 comes packed with a USB cable, a pair of headphones, and product manual.

Where did you get white E2? I want one too but Amazon only has black.

Both the E2 and i9 are not available in White in the U.S. I have come across some foreign imports in white, but they are in high demand. There is speculation that the white version of the player will hit the likes of Amazon at the very end of the year or in the new year.
